I need to complement you on your answer. To the point, and detailed. NICE.

Let me throw in that if you are camping I have heard some of the inexpensive solar chargers work well. But I think you would need to seperate your batteries. But you could maybe set one battery on the beach one day, abd then use it the next? But I don't know anything about them so if you would use one you may want to check out the technical details more.
