I noodled on this for two years before buying my Ranger in 2013. A trip across Red Lake into a 20-25mph head wind in a boat with a full wind shield sealed the full windshield for me. I run an 1860 angler and have never felt cramped by the windsheild. I really liked the MX1825 but the smaller front deck paired with a full windshield was a big part of why I went with the 1860.
