Location: Hayward, WI		Dropping to a 17 you should see approx 400 rpm gain, which is where you should be. Motor maxes out at 6000, try to get it closer to that. Dropping to a 17 will also help your holeshot for watersports and lower your trolling speed. You could also send your prop to a good prop repair shop and they could tweak your current prop for better performance.
