I've owned a Reata 1850RS for the past 5 years and I love it. I can't comment on the Angler, other than I think it may have better rod storage for the longer rods. However, I've been able to make some modifications to make it easier to store my rods along the gunnel, keeping them out of the way. I can fish 2 guys up front, but it's best if they can cast with opposite hands. I wouldn't do it for multiple day trips, but a day trip is fine. When it is time to get the family out for tubing or just cruising, it's very comfortable. I hope that helps. I would arrange a test ride in each if you can. Good luck!
