Location: Twin Cities | We just recently put a new terrova 80 trolling motor on our boat and on saturday it appeared it was dead as it wouldn't only stay on for a few seconds and then turn off and changing the speed wouldn't do anything. Charged it all day sunday and went out last night but the same thing happened. Doing a battery test on the trolling motor says that it is fulling charged. It doens't work with the pedal or handheld remote. It will turn on but if you crank the speed it usually just shuts off and it displays between .3 and .5 MPH when its on so it basically isn't doing anything. I'm a complete novice to this stuff so I'm not sure what to ever check out or if I just call cabelas about it. Any tips would be appreciated, thanks. |
