Hiya,

How invasive are you willing to go? If you can remove the floor board, the fix will be to add a sheet of aluminum plating below the deck, then reinstall the deck.

Most manufacturers will have this kind of plate below deck which allows for heavy machine screws to hold the plate rather than have to hold to wood or composite, which is usually not as strong.

The toggle bolt idea will work, but one thing to consider here...if you have to remove the base for some reason, the only way it is coming off is for the toggle wings to completely unscrew...and reinstalling will require retrieval of them...

My gut says, take a little time to remove the deck, install a piece of aluminum plate to the underside, then reinstall the pedestal base. That thing will be rock solid!!
