I had a 2008 Reata 1850 for 3 years. It was great for family cruising, tubing, etc however I did not like it for fishing. To me, it was more of a walleye jigging/trolling boat. Higher sides, so it would handle your Winnebago's, Mille Lacs, etc well. But for bass, muskie, northern fishing I did not like the layout. It has a higher front deck, high freeboard, deep cockpit and the full windshield was always getting in the way of casting. As soon as the kids were off to college and done with tubing I sold it and am back to a pure fishing platform - side console or tiller for me.
