Propster,
water pressure line popped off the gauge over winter one year due to expansion of the frozen line. It came off right under the dash.
You should be able to reattach it very easily. You don't need to drain the water out of the line. Just reattach it. Mine used a brass ferrule that slid over the OD of the tubing. The ferrule was shot and I should have replaced it. The gauge works fine, but does have a little fog inside.
