Location: Stevens Point, Wi.		The brakes are most likely surge brakes, so no power is needed for application. Backing up, you will have to manually engage the reverse lock out, unless you are using a 5 pin adapter and the truck reverse light pin is working. I still would get your truck recepticle checked, as I wouldn't want to make a trip without the running lights working.
