| I thought I had blown a fuse or had wiring issues on my trailer as the blinker and brake lights worked on the trailer, but the running lights didn't work.
Instead of plugging the trailer wires into the adapter that goes into the truck, I plugged them directly into the normal plug in on the truck.
Everything worked just fine. So I assumed the adapter was bad, so I grabbed another adapter and have the same problem.
Am I safe to assume the receiver part on my truck is bad? I wouldn't be concerned except that I am going to be towing a buddy's boat next week that has trailer brakes and have no way of knowing if the trailer brakes are going to work if my received on the truck is bad. | |
