I bought some rockford fosgate speakers off of amazon for a little over 100$ and a radio with 2 speakers and the rain protector face plate for 100$ that i bought from cabelas. Installed the radio and rain protector and the fosgate speakers and sold the 2 speakers that came with the radio for 25$. So i spent around 200$ for the set up. Highly recommend the rockford speakers, sound great. The tweeters are seperate from the speakers, gives you a better quality sound. Highly agree on spending a little more on the speakers than the radio, but would make sure to have the rain protector face plate. Hope this helps alittle.
