Hiya,

if you run the boat on a normal basis and will be filling up on a regular basis, there is no need to put in stabil. It does not matter what fuel you use whether it is premium non oxygenated or an ethanol blend. If you use the fuel, no damage will be done to your motor. Let any fuel sit without a stabilizing agent and it will gum your engine up.

I start to run stabil in Middle september when there is a good chance I may not run through a full tank before I hang it up for the season. By doing so, I ensure my motor has stabilized fuel running through it, and since I am running a 2 stroke, all I have to do is fog the engine and then engine storage is done for the winter.

Steve
