Location: Rhinelander, Wisconsin		Not even close to 'twice as heavy'. In many cases, the aluminum weighs as much and some weigh even more than a comparable glass boat, and the price is also not even close to twice as much if you have similar engine, features, beam, depth, and length.

For example, the 20.5' class Alumacraft weighs more than the 20'5' class Larson.
