Well after the weekend on the water I've come to the conclusion that all is good! I ran all weekend and never had an issue with the hole shot. Not sure if originally the motor needed more breaking in or if the extra weight from my dad and the guy I fished with over the weekend made that much of a difference. Either way I have no complaints. Never did get an rpm because I was having too much fun racing from spit to spot.
