| Sometimes, WOT is not the problem with the overheat alarm. When the impellers wear, they pump enough at higher RPM's, but not enough at idle. My 135 Opti would do that after idling, I'd punch it, and the alarm would sound. Turn it off, and restart, and it would be fine after that.
When I looked at the Water PSI on the Smartcraft at idle, would be 1 or less, but at mid-throttle and higher, would be 10-12. New impeller was2-2.5 at idle, and 12-15 at higher speeds.
