Location: Grand Rapids, MI		I don't know if yours is wired the same as mine, but my fuel gauge dropped to nothing suddenly. Just dead. I found it was actually a bad solenoid for my trim/tilt. The power runs straight from the battery to the starter, then the 2 solenoids for trim/tilt, then back to the fuse panel to power the tach, fuel gauge, etc. Fixed the solenoids, and that fixed my gauge problems.
