I absolutely LOVE mine. I spent a week on LOW out from Sioux Narrows and it performed great. The guy in my boat has a Terrova with iPilot and he couldnt believe how smooth and quiet it was. He was very impressed.
I recorded a few tracks and played them back and it worked decent. I think it was having some issues with all the giant rock outcroppings or perhaps my HDS unit mounted right there was causing some issues so I will have to do some additional testing. A few times (probably twice) it would hunt back and forth when in the heading lock mode. I think it was getting confused, or perhaps it was the wave action swaying the boat, not sure. I had similar things happen with my old Minn Kota so I wasnt too surprised it happened.
Overall very very impressed.
