Hiya,

How old are the gas lines? If they are not as flexible as they once were, it might be a good time to replace them, if for anything preventative maintenance...

Lots of things you can do along the fuel lines...replace fuel filters, check screen in the fuel pump, etc. all can hold back fuel when under less pressure if they have any little clogging, etc. Frugal enough to be worthy of replacement every couple of years just to keep things running well.
