Subject: Humminbird confusion

Location: one foot over the line		Recently I installed a humminbird 899 SI on my boat, even more recently I installed the WI lakemaster chip. Should i be able to sit in my boat, in my driveway, and page through WI lakes and have the info pop up on the screen? Currently, i go to the lake list and select a certain lake and then it goes back to the original screen. Am i missing something? Or, am i a redneck who has not spent enough time learning all the ins-and-outs of this unit?
