Location: Waukesha, WI, USA		Like Sam said, lower the trolling motor and wait about 30 seconds. A message will appear or go to start up menu to see if says it is connected. Gave latest software in head unit. Once it recognizes trolling motor, update remote (can't do this till it recognizes). I assume test Both wires coming out of trolling motor are hooked up.
