I believe this is 2014.

Mercury builds a superb 4 stoke in the Verado, and a killer little 150 4 stroke. Yamaha builds a great motor too. The 'superiority' of one or the other as to severe use and issues is almost identical from what we see covering the Bassmaster, FLW Tour, National Walleye Tour, and other major tournaments over the last decade. Base your choice on the particular HP engine you want to buy, local service and service where you fish, and price if that's a deal breaker for you.
