I had my pedal go to hell on me last fall. Was fishing in light rain and noticed when I would tap the left turn button on foot pedal it would stick a little bit longer each time. All the sudden the motor turned itself on to constant thrust and kept spinning counter clockwise. Thankfully it was last day of season and the weekend trip for the boat so I just unplugged the pedal and used the remote. Minn Kota covered pedal under warranty. Motor was only new last season.
