| Ok. Here is what I find out. Using my trusted all seeing eye (google), I tried reading some other forums. Apparently the Bird's Eye View causes problems. Although, I could not find this anywhere on hummingbird's site. Once I hid those views (full screen AND split screen), the unit worked fine. It had the same problem for the version it came with (I think v_6.840, not sure can't go back) and the current software update v_6.860. So, I will use it as intended (never used BEV in the past) and wait for another update. It was driving me crazy! Could have called HB CS, but why do that? Its like reading the manual... | |
