Although the battery topic has been beaten to death here, I'll jump in and add something to the discussion. I used Walmart batteries in the past and found them to be a reliable product. A couple years ago however, the clerk in automotive, a retired mechanic, told me to go to the local auto supply instead. Walmart's batteries are manufactured by Johnson Services, (makers of Interstate and a host of other brands) which has moved their manufacturing to Mexico. Ever since that move, there have been so many quality issues that Walmart has been forced to lower their warranty to one year. Some users, like Jim, may get a good one, but chances are just a great that you'll get a dud.
