I fish 50% of my time for muskies with the other 50% being bass/walleye/etc.. I’ve run cable steer front trolling motors for 30 years and like the instant response and trouble free operation. Don’t even have to look at the trolling motor to know which direction I’m pointed by the position of my foot.

That said, some compelling features on the new motors……particularly Spot Lock and I am contemplating a switch.

For those of you who have done it - I’m just wondering your likes/dislikes after the switch.
