| How old was that boat/motor? I can see issues with ethanol in boats and motors that were older and didn't have ethanol friendly hoses and gaskets. In that case, it wasn't the stabil that was the issue, it was old equipment not suited to running ethanol.
I've used Stabil in all my toys for years, and I've never had any issues related to its use. I've got a half full(half empty?) bottle of Marine Stabil(The blue stuff) in my garage for the past 2 years, and it looks the same as the day I bought it. Not cloudy at all. | |
