| Just the sales tax when you purchase. I have not moved to Wisconsin so it is possible that there might be some kind of tax to register it the first time in Wisconsin but no sure.
Also, just for clarification... you do not have to put a plate on a trailer if the total weight of the trailer and load (boat, motor, trailer and all equipment carried within) does not exceed 3000 lbs. If the total weight is over 3000 you will need a plate. Also, the trailer will need to be titled in your name regardless of the weight. Title is different than registration. | |
