Aren't you supposed to be working? Most of my low rpm hours are on the kicker, and I don't run at cruise speed too often. Too hard not to get on that V'Rod- probably like you in the 'vette... I put about 80 hrs on my main and most of them would be in the 12-15 gph consumption range. Would burn significant oil on 1000 gallons or so of fuel.
One oil change a year is nice as I ran the external reservoir dry on my 150 Optimax once. Talk about a pain in the butt to get the alarms to stop on that even after it was primed and refilled. |
