| Mine is offset right a little. Gave up some side distance shooting port side but had less interference from the kicker while it was down. One otherthing, I've seen the question of how well can you side scan at high speeds. I think I've heard of one person (Doc Sampson) getting images at like 25mph. Has to be very ideal situation with your mount and other factors. I typically lose good side sounding at around 7 mph, kicker or main engine running. Awesome addition to your tools though. Green Bay is my home water and its amazing what you learn/see that you previously thought was x and its really y. Found sunken ice houses, 2 sunken boats, couple anchors, telephone pole, tires, etc. Couldnt tell what that stuff with old sonar in a million years. | |
