The boat weighs about 800 pounds and the beam is about 72" not including the gunnel. I am running about 28 to 30 MPH with a 50 HP Mercury depending on load. I fish out of an X170 almost exclusively now, love the boat.

I had a custom Just Encase deck box built for the front, and have the back deck option installed. I'm running a 12/24 volt motor, so have two batteries in the front, which I think helps the boat balance. It's stable, draws very little water, and runs rough water very well. I've fished Wabigoon, Lake of the Woods, and Vermilion out of the X170 with no issues.
