In the true bass style boat it sounds like you are wanting a Champion, Charger or Basscat. All of those take rough stuff well and ride dry. The Rangers are nice boats off pad and fishing but don't ride that well and are a wet ride in the rough stuff. Length of boat is also going to be an issue, 19' is going to be min. for most big lakes.
