I have a 150 Optimax. I cast 95% of the time but I do three or four late fall trolling trips every year. Not enough times per year to warrant a kicker motor, so I just use the big motor. Trolling can be rough on it though and makes a mess of the $26 per each spark plugs. For that reason I am considering 4 stroke on my next boat. Is the Verado version worth the extra dollars compared to the regular four stroke? Looks like the Verado 150 is 55 lbs heaver. I would have assumed it would have been lighter.
