| Note: the 600 series is not networkable. MSRP on the 688 is $499. if you want to spend an extra $100, you can get an 859 for $599. Or, as I recently did, you could get a discontinued 788 for $350. I don't know all of the differences between the old 700 series (which they seem to be phasing out) and the new 600 series are, but if the units are networkable, they can share waypoints, routes, etc. Moreover if you ever get an iPilot Link, which you should, then both networked units can communicate with the trolling motor. The 688 cannot share waypoints or communicate with iPilot link.
