I had 2 90hp tower of powers, One was older, it had a distributer instead of switch boxes for ignition. That motor didn't last long as it blew up on the test drive a couple minutes in (totally the sellers fault) I got a good deal on that boat after the motor went. I repowered it with a late 80s version of that same 90hp tower of power, it was a pretty good motor. Very easy to work on.

All I can sayif your looking to repower from a 90hp to a 115hp make sure that deal is really good. As their is some work involved and it would suck to do all the work and not be happy with the move.

I currently have a 681c I repowered with a 115 Johnson, it had a 70hp Johnson. I am very happy with the move
