Location: Minnesota		what size boat do you have ? I have a 18 foot boat and have the 60in 80lb motor. I have been out on the lake when the motor still comes out of the water. it comes down to boat size and the lakes you fish. if the motor you have works for you the 45in would work if you plan on getting a bigger boat and keeping the motor get the 60 in 80 lb .when I bought my boat in 2012 I wanted all new .
