Check out "boats.net" my brother put a new HPDI on his boat two summers ago. He couldn't find a Merc or Yamaha anywhere close. He ended up finding one on boats.net for a couple grand less. Purchased it there and had it shipped to a dealer in MN. Its a certified seller of motors so any Yamaha dealer has to rig it for you with all applicable warranties. With the cost savings for the motor, he was able to get it shipped and rigged for less than what they wanted for just the motor at the dealer. Just a thought.
boats.net is great. I haven't bought a motor there, but do my own maint. and they have the best deals on parts and lubes / oils.... |
