Location: Northwest WI | Take a look at Even Keel Marine in Rockford, IL. They're a smaller, family run business, the family of which I've known for 42 years. John Tibbett is a good man and will treat you fairly. John's son, Bob, (my age) runs the service shop and is top notch with boat engines.
I've bought a couple of new boats from them over the years including the one I use today. In 2007 I traded out a Yam V-Max 150 2 stroke for a Yam 4 stroke 150 and have been very happy with the motor. It's a smooth runner, is good on gasoline, and hasn't had any mechanical trouble.
