I muskie fish out of a 1850 Tyee and I find the sides are a bit too tall. It's a long way down to the waterline. Keeping the fish in the water and removing the hooks is a little bit of a problem. The front casting platform is also a bit too small. It's a great boat for trolling and walleye fishing but it doesn't fit me right when I muskie fish.
The I Pilot is nice, especially when linked to a Humminbird. I run the I Pilot link sys and I love it. The "follow the contour" feature is awesome. A lot of guys that used cable steer trolling motors are switching to the I Pilot.
