Location: Chippewa Falls, WI | I have both the ipilot with ilink and the HB 998. I use the ipilot way more than the SI feature on the HB. I mainly cast and hardly ever troll but I absolutely love the ipilot! The electronic anchor, follow the contour, and many other features are awesome to use. My advice is to definitely go with the ilink first but make sure you have a graph that is compatible with it to use all the features or that wouldn't help you out at all. Not sure if the 700 series you're looking at has follow the contour or not.
