Location: Forest Lake, MN & Bemidji, MN | No, it was black, my map page completely disappeared on the water one day. I had the full map up and the screen just went black. I thought the power must have worked loose from the battery or I popped a fuse but when I hit pages I could use sonar and everything else but the map option was gone. It was like it did not have GPS at all. I turned it off and back on a few times and it didn't fix anything. I googled up the reset codes (looks to be the same ones listed in the other post) and the soft reset worked like a charm. So it was not a screen issue exactly like your friend is experiencing but I wanted to offer the suggestion in the hope that it isn't a fried screen. |
