Location: MN | Asking for a buddy who's got at least a ten year old X104 unit. It will power up but only give a “white” screen. You can’t see anything, however, when you press the buttons you can hear the beep. Does this mean it is functioning still and the screen can be fixed? He called Lowrance and they can't/won't help…old technology. Is there a reboot of the software or a reset function that can be preformed? Is there any repair possibility? I don't think he asked and they didn't offer, but do they sometimes do a trade in/discount on purchase of a new unit? Are they worth anything for parts to anyone? He's having a hard time considering the thought of just tossing something he paid $2200 for originally. What's his next move? Thanks | |
