Hiya,

having owned the 90hp 2 stroke , I would say spend the extra $1200 on the four stroke. The 90 2 stroke is the weakest of all 90hp motors due to it's small displacement. The F90 is much larger, and that extra weight is actually a good thing for easier trimming of the bow. With more weight in the rear, the center of gravity of the boat is moved backward, thus allowing the bow to trim easier. Now...the 70 hp will not have as much power, but I still think it will be better overall.

Plus...if you go the 4 stroke way, you will save on fuel cost also.

No doubt the 4 stroke is bigger, but the lack of fumes, the quiet power, and overall performance will be better than the comparative 2 stroke model.
