I drive mine on partially and then winch it the rest. It's a Lund with a Shorelander trailer. If it doesn't center perfectly as I'm winching it the rest of the way I'll leave it about 3 feet or so back and then hop up on the side it's pointed towards and shove the bow over to center it myself. You don't have to be hercules to do this and about 50% of the time I have to do this. It sure beats the heck out of banging my head against the wall backing it off and trying to run it up straight from the very beginning.
