Wish you were closer to the twin cities... We could replace your livewell pump in the boat for the same price and have you up and running in about 15 minutes.... I'd help out.
In a nutshell, the livewell pump is held in place by the exit hole through the transom which is basically a nut and a gasket. Take that off, and the livewell hose, and it would be free. Then, clip the two wires and add connectors.
Get your new aerator in (reverse the process of removal), add a couple of connectors to the wires on the new unit and you would be in business.
