Well Just wanted to update. Lowrance was good to me. When I talked to them they knew they had a batch from a few years ago that had seal problems and were surprised it lasted this long. They did some checking and confirmed mine was within those serial #s. I mailed the bad one in on Monday and got the new Gen 2 unit in fed ex today. That's a pretty quick turn around especially for a unit that was out of warranty. The only downfall is all my data is gone. I couldn't back it up and they could not get it either. So there is a lesson in there fellas. Go out to the garage tonight and put all your data on a card just in case.
