so, if you are adding a kicker ... my suggestion from experience is to tie it into the main tank (4-stroke or not) for convenience of 1. not having the extra tank cluttering up space and 2. not having "stale" gas from intermittent use of the kicker. i tied mine into the main fuel line (2-stroke) and installed a separate "oiler" and glad i did. with the steering arm and main-line fuel and oiler it's there when i need it and convenient.
