Location: Hayward, WI | I've had good luck and only needed to replace one so far. I fish a lot and think the first made it 4 years. When mine stopped turning one way, it STOPPED. Took it apart and cleaned, dunked it in the lake. Nothing, done. New foot pedal was the answer, unfortunately.
I'd try to clean it, but wouldn't fight it too much if it doesn't work. My guess is if cleaning it gets it working again, I'd be tempted to get a spare as I'd have the feeling it would only be a matter of time before it's done for good. |
