I can't comment on the Merc, but I have that exact boat with the F70 Yami. Long story short, it's a great combo! I'm currently running a 13 pitch 3 blade aluminum and I get 31-32 MPH with a full tank of gas, 2 batteries up front, all my gear, 2 adults and my small son. By myself the performance is the same. Hole shot and getting on plane is NOT AN ISSUE. It's quick out of the hole with this prop and it cruises really nice at virtually any speed you want to run. The engine is awesome.

The only "downside" is that I'm running into the rev limiter with the 13. I just picked up a 3 blade 15 pitch and I'm going to run that this weekend and I'll report back for you. I suspect hole shot will suffer a bit, but I think I'll still run over 6,000 at the top end and that I'll be able to pick up some speed. I'll let you know.

I suspect that on the bottom end the Merc 60 and the Yami 70 would perform similarly. Once you get into the mid-range though, I don't think the Merc would keep up as the Yami can spin up higher RPM's. The F70 really winds up quickly if you punch it while on plane, the acceleration is very good. It also has the larger gear case so it spins a larger diameter prop, like the Bigfoot.
