| So i'm out fishing saturday, boat started right up, trolled the lake for about 4 hours and then battery would not start the boat (dead battery). This is the first time this has ever happened to me. Battery is only 2 years old, had it checked and is in great condition, just not charging they told me.
Now i've been fishing small lakes lately which means lots of trolling and less running of the motor. I've never charged the starting battery with the exception of during the winter. Is this due to not running the motor and lots of trolling with the electronics draining power or am i overlooking something?
A little peranoid now with a few big water trips in the future.
Thanks! | |
