Mine isn't "under powered" because it will get on plane with 4 people and all their gear, but it isn't fast either.
Compared to a 16' rebel, the 618 has more and drier storage, good rod storage of 14 rods up to 9', a 50" live well plus a smaller live well.It will also ride much smoother and handle better.
And, yes it can fish 3 people.
